Hey there! I’m Marla — a California-based wedding photographer and videographer with a lifelong love for capturing stories through the lens. My passion for photography started when I first picked up a camera as a kid — I brought it everywhere, documenting everything from family moments to random adventures.

My journey into weddings began when I filmed my boss’s wedding — my very first one. I had no idea what to expect, just a camera and a vision. The moment I started capturing two people in love, I was hooked. There’s something magical about photographing those real, unscripted moments — the kind that feel like a scene from a romantic movie with a touch of comedy and chaos mixed in.

As a photographer and videographer, I’m drawn to authenticity. I’ll guide you into poses, but it’s the laughter, the glances, and the little moments in between that I love most — that’s where the real story lives.

Anyone can take a photo, but what matters most to me is how it feels. My goal is for you to look back at your photos and films and relive every emotion — the excitement, the nerves, the joy — exactly as it happened.

And if your wedding involves adventure, travel, or nature — count me in! I have a deep love for national parks, exploring new places, and capturing love stories surrounded by beautiful scenery.

She showed up early, made sure to take photos of the set up, she did a great job at hiding so the couple wouldn’t see her, and the photos came out absolutely amazing!
